1 :: The Set a President dress from ModCloth is simple but smart. Perfect for a wedding, a special summer date, or even just a trip to the library!

2 :: Mr. Jones got me an amazing ice cream maker for my birthday, so I’ve been making ice cream like crazy. Peach ice cream is my absolute favorite, and I’m really looking forward to trying this Honey Peach Ice Cream from Ezra Pound Cake.

3 :: If you’re like me, you have lots of new babies (and new moms) to celebrate with this summer. Wrap your gift in something special by following this fabric wrapping DIY from Inchmark Journal.

4 :: I love birds, and they were a big part of our wedding theme. Though our anniversary is still a ways off, this Vintage Lovebirds necklace from The Vintage Pearl would make a lovely gift (hint hint!).

5 :: Owen Gatley’s style is calculated but fun. I love the care and detail he takes in his illustrations, while making them seem effortless. His maps are especially whimsical!

6 :: Now that I’m deep into beach season, and I’d love to trade up my worn Taget beach bag for this sweet and simple sailor tote from Bayan Hippo. It’s big enough to hold all the essentials, but nice enough to use as a regular tote bag once the beach sand has left my feet!

1 :: The clean lines and upbeat pattern of the Bright Concerto Dress from ModCloth make it a great pick to take you from spring in to summer.

2 :: My favorite granola bars are always ones that include dried cherries! I’m dying to make these Cherry Almond Granola Bars from Honey and Jam as my next snack.

3 :: Japanese washi masking tape has been all over the blog world for quite some time now, and I really want to add some to my craft/gift wrapping module. Pretty Tape has some really fun combos in their Etsy store.

4 :: As I’ve been culling through a lot of my belongings thanks to this book, I’m realizing that I’d like to use more interesting containers to store the few useful everyday things that I use. This deco style planter from AMradio would be great for holding paper clips and other small office items.

5 :: Use the lovely weather to go outside and pen a note to one of your favorite people. These free downloads from TocoToco mag would be swell to receive in the mail! (via Creature Comforts).

6 :: I’m a big fan of Jordan Gray’s design for Hidden Pictures’ new album Synchronized Sleeping. The combination of clean, mid-century style illustration with just a little bit of texture and warmth really makes it pop! Plus, that typewriter is darling.

[ps] I just wanted to make note that I don’t actually purchase all the items I post here! Though I do occasionally splurge on some of my favorite “faves,” these posts are a way for me to enjoy and appreciate new things without actually spending any money. It’s like internet window-shopping, plus I get to share it with all of you!

1 :: I’ve been wanting to start painting with watercolors again, and these popsicle cards from FineDayPress are a great inspiration.

2 :: It’s sold out now, but hopefully Katie Daisy will do a reprint of her “Wild Air” print. Check out her site for some more incredible illustration work.

3 :: This house tour from Design*Sponge featuring Jack and Lulu’s house features their amazing home office. I love the vintage desk chairs and pops of bright green.

4 :: For those breezy summer days at the beach, it’s always fun to have a pinwheel. This step-by-step pinwheel DIY from Style Me Pretty includes a free printable download. Try making a few and putting them in a flower pot for some fab front porch decor.

5 :: I’m finally wanting more skirts in my closet, especially as the days get hotter. ModCloth has a pretty wide selection, and I love this Shades of Summer skirt. It’s got just enough of a “fiesta” feeling without being too crazy.

6 :: I have a bunch of eggs in my fridge right now, and I think they’re going to head to the oven in this Herb Frittata from Nourished Kitchen. Simple, quick, and a great big breakfast!
